As for the person with the "cornering problem", I had the same problem on my 85 suburban, 6.2L, I changed the fuel filter, again, and the problem went away. I never thought that the fuel filter would cause a cornering/power problem! ALWAYS carry a spare filter IN the vehicle, sometimes I can get a whole 6 months out of a filter, but one time I only got about 35 miles, before having to change a filter to be able to get home! Depends on where you buy the fuel, and I try to buy fuel at truck stops, where I thought a large turnover would mean clean fuel....quess not! Unless it was an air leak at the filter. The 1993 and newer filter is a godsend, it can handle a lot more contaminants before causing operational problems. I thought about putting 2 of the old sardine can filters in parallel..anyone tried that?
