Subject: 6.2 diesel chevy gmc suburban rearend transmission

Message:
what is a good stall speed for a 6.2 4X4 with a 700r4 which I will probably never tow with, and do alot of highway driving. I am mainly concerned with milage.
with the 6.2 , 700r4 combo what would be the highest recomended gear ratio, I currenly have a 10 bolt with 3.73 ratio. I am looking for milage here and have seen ratios as high as 2.73, would that be to much for a 700r4 in a suburban
