I have a '93 Chevy 6.5 Turbo Diesel, 155k miles, and recently the glow plugs are staying on too long when starting, even after starting. It used to supply power for 2 or 3 seconds, now it takes 30 or so. The volt gauge verifies that it is suppling power, not just the light.

I don't think it's a plug problem because I looked at the plugs, and they are not scorched or nicked at all, they look great, except for a soot buildup, wipes off easy.

I asked around a little, and suspect it is a sensor or relay, but where is it, or am I on the wrong track?

Thanks
