Hey all,
I'm new to this board, but you guys have TONS of info. I'm just a poor college punk that has a 1956 GMC 550 dump truck (bought it my SR year of highschool and drove to VA from CA).
Anyway, it has a 4-53 in it with a 10sp road ranger and a 3pd brownie-pack. The 4-53 doesn't have the power the truck needs so I want to put a 6v92T in it. I've found some, but does anybody have one for sale?
Do the 6v92 and the 4-53 have the same bellhousing and bolt pattern? I figure they both will bolt up to the roadranger 10sp.
Any tips/suggestions?When I done, anybody wanna buy a PERFECT 4-53?
