I have a 1986 Jimmy with a 6.2 Deisel. The motor runs great but has one small problem we can't figure out.
The motor refuses to cold start w/o spraying a tiny amount of starting fluid in it. After that it starts right up. If you start it and immediately shut it off it will fire up an hour later...it will fire up 5 hours later.
Any suggestions?

We put in new plugs and checked the module to make sure it was putting out the correct voltage and everything is fine.
I'm not too farmiliar with deisels...what else should we check?
