I am in need of a couple of batteries,, Question- Has anyone had luck with the Red-Top Optima Dry Cell batteries? they are pricy and max out at 1000 CCA,, will that be enough for a '90 7.3?

Optima batteries are far superior, and don't care what anybody says delco batteries are complete garbage. The problem people have with optimas is that when charging the up you haveto put a battery in between the chrarger and the optima because they don't like the spikes that come from a charger, doing this will give you a long life battery almost bullitproof.
