Subject: Best way to bleed fuel lines 2001 cummins?

My fuel gauge for some reason quit working and i ran my truck out of deisel. i put about 6 gallons in it and primed like it said in the manule. but i think i have air in my lines is there a special valve to crack while i am cranking it? or should i simplay crack an injector?

Im sure that you have figured out this problem by now.. But for those of you who run into this I can help. On the injectors there is a small bolt.. About a 7/16, You can be sure that its the bolt if two small lines run near them. Crack open each one at a time from the front to the back and crank the motor untill it spits fuel.. beware the fule is under great pressure dont let it hit you its bad news! Do that to every one and thats the best way to bleed the system.
