Don't laugh, the price was right. Engine going in 1986 GMC 1ton 4x4 truck with Bale Deck. Need affordable mileage moreso than power. Started to build adapter plate, but then heard someone already building them. No name and can't find on web. Any ideas? Basically need SAE#2 to CH465 muncie 4spd.
Would a SAE#2 from a 6500 series GMC bolt to the CH465?? Or would an allison to the 205 transfer case be a better solution? Don't try and talk me out of using the Perkins! It's a sentimental thing...:)
