Subject: Fracturing of injector pipes

Message:
I have a 1.6l non turbo VW camper van which keeps fracturing the high pressure pipes from the pump to the injectors.
VW dealers have checked the mountings, timing, pipe clamps etc. no problems found.
It still keeps fracturing a pipe every tankful.

Any suggestions (sell the truck?)

Did they check the pressures coming out of the pump. The pressure relief valve could be stuck and the pump building to much pressure.

Message:
The nozzle opening pressure may be to high. This can be identified by pop-testing the nozzle.
