Has it had a cam sensor put in it?

been a mechanic 4 10 years however not diesel. did check oil temp sensor mass air and map sensor but no computer equipment to check cam signal. rescently got out of the business; however there has been no lights come on & no codes with reader do not know what the resistance should be on cam sensor or could check it manually once I located it. truck rescently purchased. don't know if it has been changed or not. maybe that's why I got an 03 FX4 4dr lariat loaded mint leather w/160k for 13k.was also wondering about signal to glow-plugs 4 wires 2 ground 2 hot should they be constant when key comes on or intermittent like injector pulse.

I have seen them in most cases to where there was no code. Have had a bunch like that. Might check with the Ford dealer and run the vin, they had a recall out on them, if they have done it we are going to have to look deeper, if not i garrentee u that is the problem. Oreilly has them for $30

About the 11 oclock position from the balancer. If Ford has not put one in this there may still be a recall notice out there they should do it for free.
