engine failure

I have a cummins isb 300 in my M.H. The engineers say my motor is dusted. This answer voids my warranty!!! My M.H. has only 25,000 miles on it. My Mechanic thinks the compression ring was cracked upon initial building. The engine blowby is 28 . it is suppose to be <12. cummins says dirt got in the motor. They don't know how or when. I have changed all the filters in the appropriate time frame. Cummins says that the dirt caused the rings to wear thin, the grooves to widen and the rings to chatter and break!!! The turbo is out as well. I only saw a little bit of dust on the intake side of the filter after a 5,000 mile journey we just finished. Is there any way you can tell the difference between ring breakage from dusting vs. crack and wear after installation????
