Which torque converter to buy? 92 Dodge, Cummins 5.9, A518

I need to buy a torque converter, the old one is full of metal. I have been searching on the net and only find the Napa option (a $129.00 torque converter) or very expensive alternatives (like $600 and above). Is there somebody out there that makes an intermediate priced option?

I used a suncoast converter at the cost of $1300< it was junk! I then went to a dacco (sp?) multi disc billet converter for $350 and works awesome...very strong!

A 92 wont have any lockup clutches. That saves on the price. Try Dunrite, Suncoast, Hughes, or TCI for a good one at a decent price. Suncoast isnt junk. A stock replacement from NAPA will just be a slushy-mushy converter. A good one will be noticeable.
