93 6.5 turbo diesel

I have a 93 chevy 6.5 turbo diesel, when it gets to running temp and i shut it off it wont start again until i pour a liter or two over the fuel pump. I was just wondering what this could be and is it an easy fix? thanks

Search this forum, it's been covered before. Most likely the injection pump head/rotor is worn.

Yes I agree I had the same problem with mine, when it was hot it wouldn't start after an hour or so.
I changed the IP, no problems after that, I had metal shavings in the pump, and also my OPS went out.
