hi, im a newbie here and was hoping that someone may be able to help me.

I have a VW TDI that is running lumpy and bellowing grey smoke. Ive changed the turbo, but no luck. Its kicking out quite a bit of smoke, definately not drivable on the road i would think.

I was hoping someone might be able to tell me what these symptoms could mean? im a fair petrol mechanic, but this is my first diesel car so diagnosing problems is a bit new to me.
