I HAVE 2 CODES P1276 (HIGH LOW OPEN) & P1294 (HIGH SIDE OPEN BANK 2) HELP!!!!! also when you first start it the alt.gauge takes a bit to come up and thats when it runs the worst. i have cleaned the bowl, changed the pig tails the valve cover gas. and harness under it. the ECM & AND THE IDM. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok 1276 is injector no. 6, 1294 is the whole side is unoperational, are we for sure it is a good IDM? May have to start chasing wires and ohming them, may have a wire bad.

Also did u go with genuine Ford valve cover gaskets and harnesses? I have used other in the past and it didnt work out.

Thx for getting back to me. I got the harness & gasket OEM. The IDM came out of a running truck.

Is the IDM out of the same year of truck?
I think it is going to come down to chasing wires, and ohming.
What was the original problem with this truck.

yes it is also from a 97. the harness ends melted.
