Postby tjb200740 » Sat Nov 07, 2009 1:24 pm

05 f250 spitting n sputtering cold idle warm up great idle. but still spitting n sputtering at slow acceleration, levels out at high rpm. cold front came though now it will not run at all but it does try to start. acts just like cam sensor but the 6.0 does not have one; i have replaced the oil to ensure that the right oil is used and is not to thick to effect injector pulse the next step plug in block heater to see if that helps any if it does im going replace the ipr valve; can anyone help please?????

I would c/k the glow plugs and relay/module, plug the block heater in for a few hours and see what happens.
Yes it does have a cam sensor, and a crank sensor, not as bad to go out like they did on the 7.3l. it is on the drivers side of the block, the crank sensor is on the passenger side of the block.
