1997 7.3 turbo direct injection, 355000 miles, has been running 15 to 20 hrs every day, no problems that would cause this. Replaced the crank sensor yesterday, did not change anything. had scanner hooked up to it, NO codes. bleed out air in fuel system by schrader valve. will run if feed ether or similiar. any ideas? please reply or call anytime 765-430-9549. Ford dealer ship can not get to it for over a week, need this figured out so we can have our tow truck back in service. thanks to all.

check engine light has never been on in the past year since we have had it, is on when using ether to keep running.

Check your maxi fuses. I had one that the fuel heater in the fuel filter burnt out and burnt the fuse which shut down the Injector driver module.

all fuses are in good working order, just replaced the fuel pump / lift pump, still crank no start.

Are you sure that the big maxi fuel pump fuse is good? I had one here that did that replaced the fuse and it started.
