2003 Dodge won't start in the mornings

Postby hotrodcaptain505 » Tue Oct 13, 2009 5:56 pm

I have a 2003 dodge that will not start unless the block warmer is plugged in even during the summer. Recently it won't start even with that I am having to jump it every morning with my wifes truck. I have replaced batteries twice within a year had both fuel pumps checked replaced the alternator and replaced the heater relay. If it sits for longer than four hours not plugged in it won't start it has spent more time in three different shops (one being the dodge dealership) than it has on the highway in the last month and yet no one can come up with a reasonable explanation why it won't start in the mornings or start at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Any codes? does it eventually start? It does crank right? Almost sounds like and injector issue or the relief valve in the cp3 pump, they also had a flash program for that year i believe on that issue.

Yes it does crank no problemit will crank till all the juice isout of the batteries. It does not pull any codes except a bad fan clutch. Yesterday was the first day that it did not start at all even with a jump. I tried all day but o no avail, Last night about seven thirty I tried it one more time and the damn thing turned over right away so I am at a lost what to do with this thing except maybe turn it into a boat anchor any more help would be helpfull

Need to see what the rail pressure is the relief valve in the pump may be messed up.
