My Mondeo has been playing up recently. It start well and runs like a dream but recently it has developed a miss fire the gets worse and worse until it stops. To get it going again, I have to crack the injectors spin it over and then nip them up again. This usually fixes it for a while - any ideas people? Thanks in advance.

NB I have changed the filter and the lift pump seems to be OK
