I have a 2000 7.3 f 350. Since almost new, when you start up in warm or cold weather it will run for a few seconds then stall. I notice that the oil pressure gauge was not registering at start up. When I do start up the second time the oil pressure will register after a second or two of running. The oil is and is always at proper level(15 quarts). The dealer says the oil pump is fine and they don't have any idea of what the problem. This happens only at start up after sitting over night or all day without being run.
This is really starting to bug me. The truck has 268,000 miles on it and stiil has the original trans too. I haul a great deal and maintain it better than the factory says to. If anyone can steer me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
