Today I went to re-start my 2000 Ram 2500 and the batteries where dead. Upon further investagation, I found that the intake manifold heater had been on for the entire drive to work. The terminals were melted and the air intake was discolored from the heat. I have found that the heater is on any time the engine is running. The solenoids/relays are functioning properly, so it must be whatever controls the solenoids/relays. What does control them? Where is it located? What part do I ask my local Dodge dealer for? Thanks for the help, Doug in Colorado
