can any one tell me how i can change my ford rear into positive traction without
changing the whole rear, is there a kit i can buy for this.

There are any number of "Locker" kits available for reasonable price. Be advised, however, that most of them are normally locked and unlock when cornering. These can be very squirrely on slick roads as there is not enough traction to force the unlock.

An Air locker is more expensive and has to be locked manually, but it'll get the job done and never bite you when you're not expecting it.

Google "locker" and "Air locker" for more info.

BTW "Posi traction" and limited slip differentials won't hold up too long and aren't worth the trouble or expense, IMHO.

also i have a spare rear for this truck can i use anything from it to turn mine into positive traction.
