Aloha I have an 85 suburban which I have been running on straight WVO. I put in a small manually switched second tank and electric injection line heaters. It starts real hard and black on WVO but much better on Diesel. I have to let the line heaters run appx 2-3 min first and then it starts with little or no smoke. It is a California truck and I think it might have the vascuum advance installed. Can anyone tell me how to disable this and if you think that would help or if you have any other suggestions.

I also run a mercedes 300 td wagon which starts fine in my climate on straight WVO. The truck also starts fine on WVO after it has warmed up ( even 5 min)
